You can fly our entire network, and progress very happily with just freeware/open source aircraft, no need to spend hard earned cash – but we also support the latest and greatest sims and payware should that be your thing.

There are hundreds of virtual airlines out there and we know it’s easy to find some that offer the world. Where we differ is we are based around our community, the enthusiasm and interest that’s brought to the experience and how we listen to our Pilots.
We offer interesting and varied destinations, tours and suggestions. As well as a well thought out and exciting fleet. We also insist that nobody has to spend any money to be able to join in at every level and get the full experience of Packet VA. Not a claim all VAs can make.
We will help you achieve your goals as a virtual pilot, help mentor and share your experiences with others to make all of us better pilots and a better community. It’s not just about blindly following routes and racking up hours. We want you to enjoy your hobby and find like minded people to inspire and encourage each other to find new destinations, aircraft and challenges.
Our flight assignment system brings new immersion
Packet has an, entirely optional, flight assignment system which automatically assigns our pilots random flights each month based on the type and length of flight you like to fly – meaning you don’t need to worry about choosing where to go if you don’t want to.

We know that you love the destinations just as much as the flight planning so we make sure our routings offer the best selections of both to keep all our pilots enjoying their time with us. Regardless of if you are doing 6 sectors of short haul or a 14 hour long haul flight – we have something to offer every sim pilot.
